Our process

Consultation

  • Meet with us. You will always deal directly with Peter McGhee, the Director and Builder
  • Discuss specific requirements of the home
  • We can develop basic floor plans and specifications or use yours
  • Initial quote is provided

Preliminary works

  • Preliminary contract and part deposit paid
  • Prepare working drawings, structural design and associated requirements
  • Complete wind, geo-technical and energy reports
  • Provide formal quote and design documentation

Contract

  • Preparation and signing of Master Builders Residential Works level 2 Contract
  • Remainder balance of 5% deposit paid

Approvals

  • Building and council approvals submitted
  • Final building approval received ready to commence construction

Construction

  • Construction begins onsite between 2-3 weeks upon receiving approvals
  • Regular progress updates from Peter throughout construction and site visits to ensure you are happy with everything. Minor changes can be done at little to no cost during framing and cladding stages. Remember, what works on paper does not always work in real life. This is where we make the difference to your new home to make it absolutely perfect

Completion and handover

  • Completion of professional clean both inside and outside of your new home
  • Site levelled and cleared of all rubbish
  • Presentation of your property, keys, hand over manual and final certificates with Peter and of course a celebratory drink and toast to your new home

Post build support

  • We encourage our clients to regularly do inspections of their new home. If any issues arise we will ensure it is dealt with promptly
  • Standard industry warranties and manufacturer warranties apply however, we do make sure we deal with all our clients concerns years after we have completed and our clients are enjoying their home
